1986
AKSH OPTIFIBRE LIMITED started as an optical fibre and optical fibre cables (OFC) manufacturing company in 1986.
1994
Aksh transformed into a public limited company and diversified into the manufacturing of Optic Fibre Cables (OFC) by setting up a plant at Bhiwadi.
1995
The company did backward integration by manufacturing of Optical fibre with initial capacity of 0.15 million FKM. In the same year, the company launched its first IT Park project MVL iPark in Gurgaon.
2000
Aksh got listed in BSE, NSE and JSEwith total issue size of $6 million. Aksh also merged Telecords (India) Private Limited, a manufacture of FRP rods, with Plant at JaitPura (Plant IV). The company also did backward integration by manufacturing of FRP.
2003
Aksh added capability to manufacture Ribbon cable and special accessible cable FTTH.
2006
The subsequent years saw consistent increase of capacity and addition of new products (FTTH, Ribbon Cable) to portfolio and in 2006, Aksh launched IPTV services (iControl) in 20 cities of India in partnership with MTNL.
2009
Aksh became a member of the World FTTH Council and ISO 9001:2008 was renewed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Moreover, Aksh was awarded 2nd place for Best Telecom Equipment Manufacturer Award under the category of Optical Fibre Cable by BSNL - CGM (QA) Bangalore.
2010
Aksh received ISO 14001:2004 accreditation by URS. Aksh acquired AOL FZE, Dubai as its wholly owned subsidiary.
2013
Aksh successfully completed Bhutan OFC turnkey project of 1200Kms.
2014
AOL FZE commissioned a 0.4 million Kms of FRP Rods manufacturing facility unit at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) at Dubai, along with being awarded 5S Excellence, WindIPP awards. 1 stop Aksh Expansion of Emitra services in Rajasthan takes place.
2015
Aksh was elevated to the level of 2 Star Export House from 1 Star. 1 stop Aksh opens 8000 Kiosks
2016
Capacity expansion in Optical Fibre by 100 %, Optical Fibre cable by 50% and Fibre Reinforced Plastic by 200 %. 1 Stop Aksh opens 10000 Kiosks
