Aksh has forayed into Smart City projects with a vision for planned development and progressive growth in various cities of the country, in sync with the smart cities mission of Government of India.

The Jaipur smart city project envisages development of Smart City solutions and state-of-art City Operation Centre. AKSH shall deploy the OFC network to install the Smart city Wi-Fi network, Smart LED Lighting system for energy efficiency, IP based surveillance system with Vehicle Identification & Counting & efficient traffic management, Environment sensors for monitoring the environment, Smart Parking system, and Smart Communication.

Network connectivity plays an important role in building Jaipur's Smart City by bringing together different city management vertical solutions on a single foundational network infrastructure. The converged network facilitates information exchange between resources and applications across different domains. It is an end-to end open platform enabling IOT (Internet of Things) services for cities. AKSH shall set up the network, provide internet connectivity through ISP to things, people, devices, and vehicles in the city street; Wired and wireless, scalable, and highly secure network platform, a data management framework to help enable data collection, organization, and distributed compute and storage services, location services, and security services. Aksh Optifibre ltd will also maintain the Jaipur smart city network for five years after commissioning.
